Structuring an Academic Paper
Introduction, body and conclusion that actually do their job.
An introduction states the topic, why it matters and what the paper will do. Each body paragraph makes one point, supports it with evidence, and explains why the evidence matters. The conclusion restates what the paper found without adding new information. If a paragraph does more than one job, split it.
